The latest ‘Alumni Report’ features the first former MLB Draft Leaguer to take home an Arizona Fall League weekly award for the 2026 season. Leading the week in home runs, OPS, slugging percentage and total bases while finishing top five in other categories, Jack O’Dowd (West Virginia 2024) took home Hitter of the Week honors. It’s the Colorado Rockies prospect’s third weekly award for 2026 after claiming the Northwest League (A+) and California League (A) Player of the Week during the MiLB regular season. O’Dowd is the first MLB Draft League alumni to win an Arizona Fall League weekly award since Chen-Wei Lin (Frederick 2023, STL) was named Pitcher of the Week in November of 2025 and Owen Ayers (State College 2022, CHC No. 2 Prospect) in October of 2025.
