The Arizona Diamondbacks have come down with Draft League fever, calling up two of their top prospects, Kohl Drake (Mahoning Valley 2022) on Sunday, June 21 and Mitch Bratt (West Virginia 2021) on Wednesday, June 24. Becoming the 18th and 19th alumni to reach the bigs, Bratt was the 17th to take to the field with his debut the same night of his call up. The second MLB Draft Leaguer to be selected in the MLB Draft all-time, Bratt worked three innings of one-run ball, striking out three batters.
Within the past week, another alumni was crowned with Player of the Week honors as Jack O’Dowd (West Virginia 2024) claimed his first Northwest League title and his second across Minor League Baseball for 2026.

The power for Martin had always been present in his first three seasons in the Yankees’ farm system (26 HR, 68 XBH), but the undrafted free agent has taken the next step and looked more like a complete hitter. Having never hit above .250 in a single season, through 63 games in Double-A Somerset, Martin hit .270 and surpassed his single-season best of 21 home runs and 54 RBI. The production earned him a call up to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Saturday, June 20 and the power and hit tool came with him. Through his first four games with the RailRiders, the former Key has gone 7-for-18 with three home runs, a double and nine RBI. Overall, Martin ranks third across all of Minor League Baseball with 24 home runs, 39 extra-base hits, 164 total bases and sixth with 63 RBI.
