MLB Draft League Alumni Report - 2025 recap

MLBDL_AlumniReportRECAP_16x9

While the 2025 MLB Draft League season didn’t start until the beginning of June, prospects with league roots got underway with their big league clubs at Spring Training as early as February, highlighted by MLB Spring Breakout with 25 alumni with fellow top prospects in the sport.

Following in the footsteps of Zach Dezenzo, Troy Taylor, Darren Baker and Luis Guerrero who made their MLB debuts in 2024, six more Draft League alumni reached the big leagues this past season.

Another 91 players were added to the MLB Draft League’s alumni class through the MLB Draft, undrafted free agents and purchased contracts, bringing the total number of former players currently in MLB’s ecosystem to 336 players.

Our final Alumni Report of 2025 recaps everything from the past year including MLB appearances, season standouts, MiLB awards, player movement, MLB Draft, Spring Breakout and more.
