The arrival of June marks the official beginning of the 2026 MLB Draft League season. As the next crop of talent has taken the field for the league’s sixth season, former players continue to shine at baseball’s highest levels. Recapping the month of May, former Trenton Thunder TJ Rumfield from the Draft League’s inaugural season found ways to consistently produce in May to become the National League Rookie of the Month.
Outside of Rumfield, five other alumni performed at the MLB level this past week while four others received promotions within their organizations. At the Minor League level, more hardware was credited to former Draft Leaguers like Carlson Reed, who was named the South Atlantic League (High-A) Pitcher of the Week.
This week’s Alumni Report covers 17 position players and 17 pitchers who stood out above the rest over the past week as well as the month of April.
