One calendar month into the baseball season and the growing list of MLB Draft League alumni in professional baseball have been making noise between weekly and monthly league awards, MiLB Prospect Team of the Week, promotions and free agent signings.
Through the first month, five former players have made their MLB debut with more on the horizon as 33 former players currently sit in Triple-A. While others jockey for position at the big league level, Cole Cheatham’s (Mahoning Valley ‘25) journey continues after signing a free agent contract with the Mariners.
This week’s Alumni Report covers 17 position players and 17 pitchers who stood out above the rest over the past week as well as the month of April.
