Kicking off the 2026 MLB and MiLB season, more than 300 MLB Draft League alumni are taking the field at the professional level.
Amongst those 300+, four broke camp with their Major League organization’s: Zach Dezenzo, the first Draft League alumni to debut, made the Houston Astros’ roster but was placed on the 10-day I.L. with a right elbow sprain. Andrew Hoffmann earned a spot with the Arizona Diamondbacks. Nathan Church, who became the first alumni to start on Opening Day, played for the St. Louis Cardinals, while TJ Rumfield became the 11th MLB Draft League alumni to be called up to the Majors, making the Colorado Rockies’ roster.
A week after Opening Day, Tyler Uberstine would be called up to the Boston Red Sox and make his debut two days later in relief.
More than two weeks into the Major League regular season and a week into the Minor Leagues, our first Alumni Report highlights the early standouts in the 2026 campaign.
