Just over a week after Nathan Church’s promotion to the Cardinals, Jonah Tong is set to become the ninth MLB Draft League alum to reach the Majors when he takes the mound Friday at Citi Field against the Marlins.

2022 Frederick Keys | MLB No. 44 Prospect (MLB Pipeline, NYM No. 4)
After two dominant starts with Triple-A Syracuse, it was announced Tuesday that Jonah Tong will make his MLB debut on Aug. 29, getting the start against the Miami Marlins. Tong leads the Minor Leagues with 179 strikeouts and is the 44th-ranked prospect in baseball according to MLB Pipeline.
2023 Williamsport Crosscutters
Nate LaRue was promoted to High-A Vancouver on Aug. 21 and made his debut Aug. 24, working a clean inning with one strikeout against the Tri-City Dust Devils.
2023 Mahoning Valley Scrappers
Jack Sellinger posted a 2.31 ERA over 35 bullpen appearances in High-A, earning a promotion to Double-A on Aug. 26 where he’s yet to make an appearance.
2021 West Virginia Black Bears
Paul McIntosh was promoted to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Aug. 27 after a productive season in Double-A that saw McIntosh slashing .267/.345/.447 over 58 games.
