As part of our annual S.L.A.M. (Supporting Local Admirable Missions) Week, we were thrilled to recognize our incredible community partners who helped us give back to the city of Trenton. On Friday night, we celebrated the hard work and dedication that went into renovating the Trenton Knights Youth Baseball Field on Bunting Avenue, a project made possible through our F.I.E.L.D. (Focused Initiative for Enhanced Learning and Development) initiative.
This past March, members of the Thunder front office, along with key corporate and community partners, came together to rebuild the field. We were honored to have representatives from two of our key partners join us on the field before the game to be recognized. We welcomed Stacy Heading, the Director of Community Engagement for ISLES Youth Institute, and Assemblywoman Tennille McCoy. We also recognized Michael Tormey, an LPL Financial Advisor representing Affinity Federal Credit Union, for their invaluable support.

Thanks to the dedication of these amazing partners, the young baseball players of Trenton now have a safe and well-maintained field to play on. This project is a testament to the power of community collaboration and a shared commitment to providing local youth with the resources they need to succeed both on and off the field. We are proud to be a part of this effort and look forward to seeing the many games and memories that will be made at the new and improved Trenton Knights Youth Baseball Field.
