The Minor League postseason ended at the Single-A and High-A levels as Double-A and Triple-A are starting up with MLB Draft League alumni littered on rosters across the board. With champions crowned at the lower levels, several prospects with Draft League roots were named as their respective classโ league All-Stars. Additionally, the initial rosters for the 2025 Arizona Fall League were announced with more alumni slated to continue their seasons.

Promotions
Evan Yates (BAL)
2024 Frederick Keys
Yates got the call to be one step closer to the Show on Sunday, Sept. 14 with Triple-A Norfolk Tide after being called up to Double-A Chesapeake Baysox the week prior. Despite not making an appearance with Chesapeake, the right-hander made 24 appearances this season with Single-A Delmarva Shorebirds and High-A Aberdeen Ironbirds where he struck out 106 batters in 91 2/3 innings to the tune of a 4.12 ERA (Single-A - 4.52, High-A - 2.70). The former Key made his Triple-A debut on the same day he was brought up, pitching one inning of relief with a strikeout.
Peyton Alford (SEA)
2021 West Virginia Black Bears
Alford was part of a handful of pitchers who got the call from Double-A Arkansas Travelers to Triple-A Tacoma Rainiers for their playoff push. Signed as an MiLB free agent in 2021, the southpaw made all 43 of his appearances this season out of the bullpen with Arkansas for a total of 56 innings with 67 strikeouts and a 4.18 ERA.
Andrew Moore (SD)
2021 State College Spikes
With 10 days until the Triple-A playoffs, the San Diego Padres brought the right-hander they acquired in May up to the El Paso Chihuahuas from Double-A San Antonio Missions. Joining the Padres organization as the return piece when they traded Connor Joe to the Cincinnati Reds, Moore has made 31 appearances with San Antonio, striking out 54 in 36 1/3 innings with a 4.95 ERA. Overall in 2025, the State College alumni has struck out 66 over 45 innings in Double-A as the Triple-A Chihuahuas sit 4.5 games back of the Pacific League second-half championship.
Arizona Fall League
The Arizona Fall League released the initial rosters for the 2025 season, Wednesday, Sept. 10.
Starting on Monday, Oct. 6, 21 MLB Draft League alumni are rostered across the leagueโs six teams. In the Draft Leagueโs five years, alumni have made their mark in Arizona, including the 2024 AFL Home Run Derby champion, Garrett Martin (NYY, Frederick โ23).
