(Trenton, NJ) – The Trenton Thunder, presented by NJM Insurance Group, are swinging into their 30th Anniversary season with a special giveaway and appearance! On Saturday, July 6th, 2024, the Thunder will honor their history by presenting the first 1,030 fans ages 13 and up with a commemorative Tony Clark Bobblehead, presented by A-1 Limousine, a proud Thunder partner for 30 years.
Tony Clark, a fan favorite who played for the Thunder in their inaugural season in 1994, will be in attendance for the 6:00pm game. This is a historic reunion for Clark, who holds a special place in Thunder history as the first player to launch a home run over the right field wall and into the mighty Delaware River.
"We're thrilled to celebrate our 30th anniversary with this special Tony Clark Bobblehead giveaway," said Thunder President Jeff Hurley. "Tony is a Trenton Thunder legend, and what better way to honor our history than by giving fans a chance to take home a piece of it? We're also excited to welcome Tony back to Trenton Thunder Ballpark and give our fans the opportunity to meet him."
The Tony Clark Bobblehead is a limited-edition collectible, featuring the slugger in the throwback Giants Uniform the Thunder donned in the 90s. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to secure their bobblehead, as they will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Trenton Thunder have drawn over 10.7 million fans over 30 years and have won the three major awards that Minor League Baseball teams can win; the Johnson Trophy for the "Nation's Best Franchise", the Larry MacPhail Trophy for Outstanding Club Promotion, and the Bob Frietas Award for Long-Term Success (Given by Baseball America). The team has given back over $8.5 million worth of goods, services, and monetary donations through Trenton Thunder Charities, under the Grand Slam We Care Foundation umbrella.
