(Trenton, NJ) -- The Trenton Thunder, presented by NJM Insurance, are excited to announce that their popular alternate identity, the Trenton Goldens, will be a permanent fixture for the team.

The Trenton Goldens were introduced in the 2024 season as a tribute to the Thunder’s long-standing tradition of featuring Golden Retrievers as full-time batdogs. This unique identity has been a hit with fans, and due to their overwhelming response, the Thunder have decided to make the Trenton Goldens a permanent part of their brand.

“We’re thrilled to continue the Trenton Goldens tradition,” said Trenton Thunder General Manager Jon Bodnar. “The fans’ enthusiasm for this alternate identity has been incredible, and we’re excited to keep celebrating our beloved batdogs and the joy they bring to our ballpark.”

In addition to wearing the Trenton Goldens jerseys for all dog-friendly games during the 2025 season, the Thunder are also debuting a brand new Trenton Goldens logo today ahead of the last dog-friendly game of the 2024 season. Merchandise featuring this new logo will be available for purchase starting today.
