
Baseball is back, and so are USA Baseball alumni! Team USA is doing it all in 2026: diving catches, no-hitters, and walk-off base knocks are all happening at the hands of our alumni. Players who have previously donned the stars and stripes are making impacts at every level, from high school to the pros. College/Prep
Top hitting performances:
- Gavin Grahovac (2017 12U, 2022 15U, 2024 CNT) went 6-for-11 with one homer and 6 RBIs for Texas A&M in their weekend series with Oakland. The junior shortstop is batting .351 with a career-high 1.022 OPS.
- Tyree Reed (2018 15U) has been on a roll for Jackson State, going 8-for-15 with four runs scored over a four game stretch and helping the Tigers to a pair of wins in the HBCU Seattle Series against Seattle University.
- Senior Dylan Lina (2019 15U) went off in Long Beach State’s midweek match against San Diego State, as the infielder clubbed two home runs as part of his three-hit day and drove in seven runs in a shootout loss against the Aztecs.
- The hits kept coming for Henry Allen (2021 15U) in Georgia’s four-game sweep of Queens, with the Alabama native contributing five hits, three homers, and eight RBIs. Allen is hitting .415 through early March and leads all Georgia players in batting average.
- Jake Brown (2022 18U) kicked off LSU’s series versus Sacramento State with a bang, racking up 13 total bases and homering three times in five at bats. The junior also scored four runs and drove in six himself for the Tigers.
- The No. 2 ranked Texas Longhorns are playing lights out and so is their starting first baseman, Casey Borba (2022 18U). The California native compiled a .444 batting average including a five RBI day at the plate on Sunday during which he launched a three-run homer.
- After suffering an injury on Opening Day, Tyler Bell (2025 CNT) returned to Kentucky’s lineup over the weekend and contributed in a big way. He tallied a hit and scored three runs on March 7 and went 2-for-3 with two RBIs on March 8 in a series sweep over the Citadel.
Top pitching performances:
- Mississippi State’s ace Ryan McPherson (2021 15U, 2025 CNT) earned his third win of the season after twirling six quality innings against Lipscomb, surrendering only one run in the process while punching out eight batters.
- Ole Miss downed Evansville 14-2 and starter Cade Townsend (2022 18U) spun five innings of one-hit ball to earn his second win of the season. Townsend tacked on seven strikeouts, allowed no runs and lowered his season ERA to 0.48 in the process.
- Wake Forest’s Blake Morningstar (2025 CNT) racked up a career-high 11 strikeouts on March 6 against ACC foe Stanford. He surrendered one earned run on two hits in a six-inning performance.
- Two-time alum Jacob Dudan (2024 & 2025 CNT) continues to dominate on the mound for the Wolfpack, as he turned in his third consecutive outing with double-digit strikeouts on March 7 after fanning 10 in 6.1 innings of work. He has 33 punchouts on the season with a 1.11 ERA.
PRO
- Kyle Schwarber (2013 CNT, 2023 WBC) is off to a hot start for Team USA at the World Baseball Classic, batting .500 after going 2-for-4 with two runs scored in each of its first two games. He clobbered a go-ahead home run on March 7 against Great Britain as part of his third national team appearance.
- Wyatt Langford (2022 CNT) is on a four-game hit streak to start off the month of March at Spring Training with the Texas Rangers. He is batting .500 with two home runs, five RBIs, and four runs scored.
- Among all the stars in Team USA’s lineup, Brice Turang (2014 15U, 2016 & 2017 18U) was one of the brightest for the red, white, and blue in Friday’s WBC opener, as the starting second baseman posted a three hit, four RBI outing at the plate in a dominant 15-5 win over Brazil.
- Brady House (2015 12U, 2018 15U) is showing out in Spring Training so far with the Washington Nationals. The 2021 first-round pick is batting .389 with three doubles, two home runs, and seven RBIs across seven games.
