Trenton Thunder General Manager Joins Foundation Academies Board of Trustees

(Trenton, NJ) -- Your Trenton Thunder, New Jersey’s Baseball Team since 1994, are excited to announce that General Manager Jon Bodnar has been appointed to the Board of Trustees of Foundation Academies, Mercer County’s only K-12 charter school.

This appointment further strengthens the Thunder’s existing partnership with Foundation Academies, which has been fostering a strong bond between the team and the school’s 1,000+ students since 2021. The partnership has provided numerous opportunities for students, including graduation ceremonies at Trenton Thunder Ballpark, field trips, and career exploration programs.

“I am honored to join the Board of Trustees at Foundation Academies,” said Bodnar. “I'm looking forward to continuing to make a positive impact on the Trenton community and inspiring the next generation of leaders.”

The Thunder organization will also actively participate in Foundation Academies events, such as the annual "100 Man Welcome" and Thunder mascot’s "Boomer for the People" campaign to support Trenton students, further solidifying the partnership and building a lasting impact on the Trenton community.
