(Trenton, NJ) -- Your Trenton Thunder, presented by NJM Insurance Group, are excited to announce the date for our annual RiverFest, a family-friendly event celebrating all things Trenton, including the capital city’s iconic Case’s Pork Roll. This year’s RiverFest will take place on Saturday, September 21st from 12pm-5pm.
RiverFest is a day-long celebration featuring live music, delicious food, refreshing craft beers, and thrilling entertainment for all ages. Fans can enjoy giant lawn games and inflatables on the field, indulge in mouthwatering menu items inspired by Case’s Pork Roll, and sip on a variety of seasonal brews from both local and national breweries. Local bands Dueling Pianos and Modern Mojo will be performing throughout the day, providing live music.
The highlight of the fall festival is the ninth annual Trenton Thunder World Famous Case’s Pork Roll Eating Championship, and Major League Eating sanctioned event. This high-energy 10-minute competition will feature some of the world’s top competitive eaters battling it out for the coveted title.
“RiverFest is a fantastic event that brings our community together to celebrate all that Trenton has to offer,” said Jon Bodnar, General Manager of the Trenton Thunder. “We’re thrilled to announce the date and look forward to another incredible year of food, fun, and friendly competition.”
According to Major League Eating: “This year's contest will be sure to inspire as 2-time defending champ Geoff Esper seeks the elusive three-peat after last year's narrow victory.”
Tickets for RiverFest 2024 will go on sale this Friday, August 2nd, and are just $5! Fans can also purchase a special ticket and t-shirt package for a limited time.
