Surprise, Arizona

CCB Prime started the round of 32 off with an 8-4 rout over Prime Red. Despite Prime Red’s left fielder Matthew Bline powering three RBIs on just one hit, CCB prevailed in the matchup of the Primes overpowering their opposition with big first and fourth innings. TB SoCal Evoshield also plated eight runs, beating Trosky National 2025 8-2 early on in Surprise.

Like CCB Prime, 5 Star West beat its opponents, Storm Elite, 8-4. Even though Storm Elite took an early lead, 5 Star West scored multiple runs in three of six innings, racing past its opponents and using four total arms to keep them at bay. Meanwhile, So Cal Birds White shut out CBA Summit 4-0. Despite CBA’s starting pitcher, Mason Montoya, tossing a complete game, Summit’s offense couldn’t get going against So Cal.

The highlight of the round came from an 11-inning bout between the ZT Renegades and CBA Bulldogs National. The two teams’ extra-inning thriller was taken by the Renegades after they plated two in the top of the 11th. The Renegades only used two pitchers in the victory, and sent the Bulldogs to the consolation bracket in heartbreaking fashion.

The South Texas Sliders shut out Canes West Scout 3-0 in Surprise. After expanding their lead with a two-run sixth inning, the Sliders stymied Canes West in all seven frames to move on to the next round. EJ Sports Warriors also shut out their opponents, moving on with an 8-0 win over City Showcase, while So Cal Birds Orange won 7-1 over Team Kado Hawaii.

Peoria, Arizona

Action at Peoria Sports Complex started with the Trosky/Milwaukee Brewers Scout Team’s dominant 10-2 win over Building Champions National. WOW Factor West earned an equally-strong win over PFA California ‘24 with a 10-0 shutout victory. After a five-run first and five-run fourth, WOW Factor West run-ruled California after just four frames while its starter pitched a complete four innings while one-hitting California.

Continuing with the trend of blowouts in Peoria, MVP Hustle ran away from Stacked California in a 10-5 win. CBA Victus San Diego followed suit, beating Team Kado Hawaii White 7-3 thanks to a five-run fifth inning.

The biggest blowout of the weekend came from MBA Navy 2025, who dominated Legacy Baseball Group 17-2. While four players on MBA had multi-RBI games, left fielder Cooper Scott smashed a whopping six RBIs in the crushing victory. Meanwhile, Top Tier Dudes recorded the final shutout of the early morning in a 7-0 win over GBG Utah 2025 Navy.

The final two teams from Peoria to move onto the round of 16 were the Diablo Valley Oaks and RCB Elite, who both won in close bouts. Diablo Valley beat Alpha Power after scoring two go-ahead runs in the top of the seventh inning after trailing throughout the game. Meanwhile, RCB Elite downed CBA Marucci American 6-3 with a critical four-run sixth frame.
