
This week’s MLB Draft League Alumni Report is headlined by a call to the big leagues with right-hander Jonathan Pintaro making his MLB debut June 25 with the New York Mets. Pintaro became the seventh MLB Draft League alum to reach the Major Leagues when he took the mound in the ninth against the Braves at Citi Field.

2021/22 Frederick Keys
Pintaro was called up to Triple-A Syracuse on June 24, but it was short lived as he was called up to the New York Mets the following day. Pintaro, the Mets No. 22 prospect according to MLB Pipeline, made his debut June 25 when he picked up two outs in the ninth against Atlanta.
2021 Williamsport Crosscutters
After lowering his ERA to 1.61 on June 20 at the High-A level, Rivera was promoted to Double-A Portland on June 24 where he’s yet to make an appearance.
2021 State College Spikes
Washington was promoted to High-A on June 24 and went 1-for-3 in his debut with a walk and stolen base.
2023 Frederick Keys
After slashing .265/.400/.490 in the month of June at Single-A, Arnold was promoted to High-A Vancouver on June 23. Arnold made his first appearance with the Canadians on June 25.

The MLB Draft League has found success in the MLB Draft through its first four seasons with 177 players drafted and another 151 signing as free agents for a total of 328 players placed in affiliated baseball.
