OpeningAct1920x1080

Rock meets sparkle this summer as Candace Campana, the region’s fiercest voice in edgy rock, takes the stage as the official opener for The Miss Americanas—Ohio’s premier Taylor Swift tribute band—on Friday, August 1st at Eastwood Field in Niles, Ohio. The event is presented by Castle on a Cloud Entertainment and Dave & Buster’s.

Known for her gritty vocals, unapologetic style, and hard rock flair, Candace Campana is an electrifying force on stage. Drawing influence from heavy metal legends and hard rock icons, her music is a fresh fusion of strength, soul, and a little bit of rebellion. Her performances—whether solo with an acoustic guitar or backed by a powerhouse band featuring Pete Drivere (guitar), Adam Parrot (drums), and Todd Kilgore (bass)—never fail to ignite a crowd.

Candace has opened for major artists including Jovin Webb, Colt Ford, Neon Union, Kylie Morgan, Big Smo, The Shootouts, Jann Klose, and many more. Her voice has echoed through some of the biggest stages in the region, including the Ohio State Fair, Canfield Fair, and Cedar Point, and she’s been a frequent voice on The Summit FM, where her single “No Average Joe” ranked in the Top 3 of their 2022 countdown.

Her debut album “Goodie Two Shoes Girl” (2022) and holiday EP “Rocker for Christmas” (2023) have gained momentum on streaming platforms and beyond—with support from Brian “Head” Welch of Korn, and collaborations with Ed Davis from The Vindys. Her newest single “Rhythm Run” is now available with a brand-new music video.

Candace is no stranger to national stages either—having performed the National Anthem for the Chicago Bears, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Pirates, Team USA Olympic Pre-Trials, Monster Trucks, and more. She's also a fan favorite on Amazon’s Flea Market Fanatics, where she not only stars—but wrote the show’s jingle.

Fans can expect Candace’s signature mix of grit, heart, and high-voltage energy as she kicks off the night before The Miss Americanas light up the stadium with their iconic Taylor Swift rock tribute show.
