MLB Draft League Alumni Report - June 13 | Mahoning Valley Scrappers

The MLB Draft League’s alumni list continues to grow, adding another two free agent signings this past week, both coming out of the 2024 West Virginia Black Bears team. LHP Sayer Diederich put pen to paper with the Orioles, while C Dayne Leonard did so with the Cincinnati Reds.

The MLB Draft League saw 12 former players post an OPS above 1.000 over the past seven days and 11 former players work 5+ innings while allowing just one run or less. Beyond the box scores, 2024 Williamsport Crosscutter Carter Dorighi received Player of the Week honors in the California League (June 2-8).

Langhorne was promoted from Single-A to High-A on June 10 and didn’t surrender in his first appearance with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers.

RHP Tyler LaPorte (ATL)

LaPorte was promoted from High-A to Double-A on June 11 and is yet to make his debut with the Columbus Clingstones.
