The Williamsport Crosscutters have officially concluded the 2025 season at Journey Bank Ballpark at Historic Bowman Field, closing out another fun and exciting summer of baseball and family entertainment as one of the region’s premier summer destinations.
The Crosscutters welcomed over 60,000 fans through the gates during the 2025 campaign (per game average of 1,641), once again providing the region with affordable, family-friendly fun that has become a hallmark of Cutters baseball. The season featured a full slate of promotional nights, giveaways, special appearances, and postgame fireworks, highlighted by a first-ever Drone Show, an appearance by WWE Hall of Fame Wrestler Tony Atlas and multiple nights of Knoebels and Hersheypark ticket giveaways.
Despite a final record of 31-43 the Cutters, defending MLB Draft League Champions, provided fans with many exciting moments throughout the season one of the region’s premier summer destinations. RHP Brad Rudis won the Rankin Johnson Award as the top Cutters pitcher and OF Max Mandler captured the 2025 UPMC Crosscutters MVP Award.
Beyond the diamond, the Crosscutters continued their strong commitment to the community. Through a variety of in-season initiatives and partnerships such as the Cutters 5K, jersey auctions and Dominican Plate Dinner, the organization helped raise over $70,000 for local charities and non-profits.
“Each season, our goal is to provide more than just baseball—we strive to create lasting memories for families and a positive impact on our community,” said Cutters Vice President of Marketing, Gabe Sinicropi.
Planning is already underway for the 2026 season, which will mark the Crosscutters 29th season in Williamsport and the 35th for the franchise overall after arriving in Billtown as the Williamsport Cubs in 1994. Season ticket information, the 2026 schedule and details on promotions will be released in the coming months.
The Crosscutters extend their heartfelt thanks to fans, sponsorship partners, and staff who helped make the 2025 season a success.
