We make every attempt to play each Crosscutters home game as scheduled. We are fortunate to have excellent field drainage, and we utilize a tarp to cover the infield area if rain is anticipated when the Cutters are in town.
For day of game weather-related updates, the home page of our website, our Twitter page, and the Crosscutters Facebook page will be updated frequently throughout the day.
Crosscutters.com and our social media outlets will be the most immediate source of timely information on any possible changes in the game time or game status. Any change in the status of the game will also be disseminated to all local media outlets. Fans can also call (570) 326-3389, then press zero to reach the operator for an update. Keep in mind, leading up to game time, our staff will be busy preparing for the game and may not be in the office to answer phone calls. You can use the links below to visit our social media sites.
Please note: we are unable to answer individual voicemails, e-mails, tweets, or Facebook comments about weather-related questions. We will provide frequent updates in any weather-related situation involving our home game schedule.
All scheduled picnics and group outings will take place regardless of the weather. Your group representative will contact you if there are any changes to your event.
Weather Related Ticket Policies
In the event that a game is postponed due to weather, any fan holding a ticket to that game may exchange that ticket for a ticket of equal or lesser value to any remaining home game that season. Tickets must be exchanged in-person at the Historic Bowman Field Box Office, and can be done so at any time during the season.
If 4 and 1/2 innings have been played the game is considered a complete game and no ticket exchanges will be given.
