
With the final out of the World Series on Nov. 1, the Arizona Fall League is the final stop on Major League Baseball’s 2025 calendar. All six teams within the Fall League have five games remaining, along with the Home Run Derby on Saturday and Fall Stars Game on Sunday (MLB Network 8 p.m. ET).
Draft League alums continue to standout this fall as the group tallied nine extra-base hits this past week and four different arms put together a scoreless week on the mound.
Aside from an update on the 22 alums in Arizona, two former players from the 2025 season inked Minor League deals with Major League organizations.
Glendale Desert Dogs
RHP D.J. Carpenter (STL, Frederick ‘22):
Carpenter made two appearances out of the bullpen for Glendale and lasted one inning in both. His first, Thursday, Oct. 30, saw two batters retired via strikeout with one more in his next outing Sunday, Nov. 2.

LHP Jacob Kroeger (ATL, State College ‘24):
In the past week, Kroeger made one outing for the Desert Dogs, lasting 1 1/3 innings with a strikeout, no hits, no runs and three walks. His fourth game this fall, it was the former State College lefty’s third game where he didn’t allow a hit and run.

RHP Chen-Wei Lin (STL, Frederick ‘23):
The Cardinals’ 16th-ranked prospect by MLB Pipeline faced the most batters in his Fall League starts. Striking out three of the 14, Lin completed two innings where he surrendered five runs on six hits.

INF Sam Antonacci (CWS, West Virginia ‘22):
In the past week the White Sox’ 11th ranked prospect by MLB Pipeline reached base in all four games with three multi-hit games, two being three-hit performances. Antonacci began with three hits Thursday, Oct. 30, with a double, RBI and two runs. Two days later, he went 2-for-5 with two runs. On Tuesday, Nov. 4, the Desert Dog had his second three-hit game with an RBI and three runs.

Mesa Solar Sox
RHP Mark Adamiak (ATH, State College ‘22):
In two games, the Athletics’ farm hand combined for one total inning, including a save. The save came Friday, Oct. 31, facing one batter and getting him to lineout to center to conclude a six-pitch at bat. His second game was Tuesday, Nov. 4 for two outs, allowing three runs on three hits, including a home run.

RHP Mason Auer (TB, Frederick ‘21):
Auer took the mound two times this past week, both lasting 2/3 of an inning. The first featured a strikeout, two hits, and three unearned runs with the second having one hit and two earned runs.

RHP Corey Avant (ATH, State College ‘23):
Avant made two outings to bookend this week’s Alumni Report with three innings Thursday, Oct. 30 and a start of 1 2/3 innings Wednesday, Nov. 5. His first appearance came out of the bullpen where he struck out three batters with two earned runs. The next was his first start since Friday, Oct. 17, and he surrendered six runs on six hits.

LHP Jack Sellinger (MIA, Mahoning Valley ‘23):
The Marlins’ 2023 14th-round pick flashed his Arizona Fall League-leading curveball in two games this past week for Mesa. On Friday, Oct. 23, the breaker topped at 3287 rpm on two occasions in his one inning of work, the first one resulting in his one strikeout of the game. On Tuesday, Nov. 4, Sellinger spun the curveball as high as 3288 rpm in his shutout inning that also featured a strikeout.

C Owen Ayers (CHC, State College ‘22):
The Cubs’ switch-hitter reached base 50 percent of the time in the past week, highlighted by a three-hit game and his third home run of the fall. On Tuesday, Nov. 4, Ayers not only got three hits, but also walked once with an RBI and three runs.

Peoria Javelinas
LHP Sayer Diederich (BAL, West Virginia ‘24):
Diederich made two appearances this past week for Peoria. The first saw him striking out two in a shutout inning with the second yielding similar results with the difference being one earned run. Through six games this fall, the former Black Bear has had three shutout appearances and four with no earned runs.

3B Charlie Pagliarini (SEA, Trenton ‘23):
Reaching base in five of six games this past week, Pagliarini recorded a hit in four, including his second home run of the fall. The Mariners’ prospect recorded two RBI as well Wednesday, Nov. 5 via his lone hit and a walk.

Salt River Rafters
RHP Joshua Loeschorn (PIT, Trenton ‘21):
Loeschorn, a 20th-round pick in 2022 by the Pirates, picked up two outs for the Rafters in his only appearance of the week. The former Trenton Thunder right-hander allowed two hits, no walks and zero earned runs while striking out one.

RHP Carlson Reed (PIT, West Virginia ‘21/23):
The Pirates pitching prospect turned in his second start this fall with four innings pitched and no runs allowed on one hit. Through 14 innings this fall, Reed has surrendered just two earned runs and the four scoreless innings Wednesday lowered his ERA to 1.29.

OF Stanley Tucker (BOS, Williamsport ‘23):
Tucker’s 16 game on-base streak to start the Arizona Fall League came to a close Nov. 1 before picking up four hits and a walk in the following three games. The Red Sox 19th-round pick in 2023 has boasted his contact and patience this fall, carrying an OBP of .397 and average over .288 through 20 games.

Scottsdale Scorpions
RHP Austin Amaral (WAS, Trenton ‘23):
Amaral made a pair of two inning appearances out of the Scorpions bullpen this past week, the busiest week he’s had so far in the Fall League. The Nationals sixth-round pick in 2023 allowed six hits and three earned runs over four innings while striking out two.

1B Will Bush (HOU, State College ‘23):
After a slow start with just one hit in his first 10 at-bats, Bush broke out this week with a four-hit game and flashed his power with a home run and two doubles. After reaching base nine times in four games this week, the former State College Spike now owns an OBP over .550 and has brought his slugging percentage up to .500.

OF Joseph Sullivan (HOU, Williamsport ‘23):
The Astros' sixth-ranked prospect by MLB Pipeline was productive in the box this past week, reaching base eight times in four games and blasted his first home run in Wednesday’s 7-3 win over Surprise. Through 12 Fall League games, Sullivan has reached base in all but one game.

RHP Nate Wohlgemuth (HOU, Williamsport ‘23):
After eight days off, Wohlgemuth returned to the mound for the Scorpions. The former Crosscutter and current Astros prospect made two one-inning appearances and struck out three.

SS Jeron Williams (HOU, West Virginia ‘21):
The Astros middle infield prospect was in action three times this week for Scottsdale and reached base twice with a single and walk, also adding a run scored.

Surprise Saguaros
RHP Daniel Harper (PHI, State College ‘22):
Harper had his longest outing of the Fall League this past week, tossing a pair of scoreless innings to help the Saguaros preserve a 6-4 win. The Phillies pitching prospect hasn’t surrendered a run in his past three outings and has only done so in one of his six games.

C Ben Hartl (TEX, West Virginia ‘22):
The former West Virginia Black Bear appeared in three games this week and just missed his first AFL home run on Sunday when he went 333 feet the other way at 95 mph for his second double of the fall. The Rangers catching prospect also scored two runs, had a RBI and reached three times via the walk and HBP.

RHP L.P. Langevin (KC, West Virginia ‘23):
Langevin entered the week still sporting a 0.00 ERA before allowing two earned runs Nov. 1. The Royals right-hander appeared in two games the past week for 2 1/3 innings, walking five and striking out four.

Signings
Two MLB Draft Leaguers from the 2025 season were signed to Minor League deals this past week. On Thursday, Oct. 30, right-handed pitcher Brad Rudis from the Crosscutters inked a deal with the Minnesota Twins, and catcher Ian Francis from the Scrappers signed with the Cincinnati Reds.
A Texas A&M product, Rudis pitched in both halves of the 2025 season for Williamsport, the first primarily out of the bullpen and fronting the rotation in the second. In 17 games (56 innings), the Twins signee broke the Crosscutters’ single-season strikeout record in their Draft League era with 69. His season-high was 10 coming Monday, Aug. 4, through five innings of one-run ball. Overall, Rudis’ 17 games featured 10 starts with a total ERA of 3.05.
Francis played only in the second half for Mahoning Valley, appearing in 32 of the team’s 46 games. The former Kansas Jayhawks catcher slashed .265/.385/.343 with a .728 OPS, eight doubles and 14 RBI. The Reds’ new prospect began his Draft League tenure with back-to-back multi-hit games going 3-for-4 with an RBI and double in his first and a 2-for-4 game with an RBI and run a day later. Overall, Francis had three three-hit games and recorded as many as two RBI in a game on four occasions.
