Hot off winning the MLB Draft League first-half title, the Spikes are set to get the second half of the 2025 schedule going on Wednesday, July 16!
The Spikes will take on the West Virginia Black Bears with a jam-packed slate of the three games on the home set through Friday, July 18, with all three games starting at 6:35 p.m.
It all begins Wednesday as John Harrar, Jamari Wheeler and Mike Watkins of the Happy Valley Hoopers, the Penn State Men’s Basketball alumni squad competing in The Basketball Tournament starting next weekend, will be on hand to meet and greet fans and sign autographs during the second half opener.
Thursday, the Spikes offer the most affordable drafts in all of Happy Valley with Thirsty Thursday presented by The BUS. Fans of age can get $2 12-oz. drafts around the ballpark from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The homestand finishes Friday as the skies light up after the game with FIREWORKS presented by Penn State Health on Star Wars Night. The force will be with Spikes fans as Local Fan Costumers will be on hand portraying Star Wars characters as Star Wars music and clips echo throughout the galaxy during the night. The night also features even more out-of-this-galaxy fun, with proceeds from the night’s Spikes 50/50 Drawing benefiting the Centre County United Way.
