Bellefonte's Makenzie Kellogg to compete in MLB Pitch Hit & Run Finals

Makenzie Kellogg Pitch Hit and Run 2568x1445

Makenzie Kellogg from Bellefonte, Pa. will make the journey from Medlar Field at Lubrano Park to the 2025 MLB Pitch Hit & Run Finals in the 11-12 Softball division this weekend in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

After qualifying by winning the local competition at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park in June, Kellogg outpaced the competition at the Little League Baseball World Series in Williamsport in August to punch her ticket to the Finals.

Makenzie will now be honored during Game 2 of the World Series at Rogers Centre along with the other 29 finalists across eight divisions before competing in the MLB Pitch Hit & Run Finals on Sunday morning on the very same field.

The Finals will stream live on GameChanger on Sunday morning, with the 11-12 Softball competition starting at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time.

This marks the second consecutive year that a local champion crowned at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park has advanced all the way to the MLB Pitch Hit & Run Finals. Sid Thomas of State College won the 9-10 Softball competition here in Happy Valley last year before going on to represent the Pittsburgh Pirates at the 2024 MLB Pitch Hit & Run Finals at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.

Good luck to Makenzie Kellogg at the MLB Pitch Hit & Run Finals!
