
WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - The Crosscutters current losing-streak reached five gems, falling to West Virginia 12-1 on Saturday night.
Starter, Cody Delvecchio, took the loss. The Right-hander out of UCLA surrendered eight runs (all earned) on nine hits over 3.1 innings. Delvecchio allowed his first home run of the season in the loss.
The Crosscutters offense was held in check for most of the night, failing to find the scoreboard until the 7th inning.
Matt Ilgenfritz singled home Matthew Bardowell for the Cutters lone run. For Ilgenfritz, it was his eight RBI of the season.
Left Fielder, Amman Dewberry collected a multi-hit night, finishing 2-for-4 with his second double of the season.
Williamsport looks to avoid their third-straight series sweep, wrapping up the two-game series with West Virginia. First Pitch is scheduled for 4:05 P.M.
