FREDERICK, MD – Former Keys infielder Jadyn Fielder (2024) made headlines this past Monday after hitting his first career professional home run while playing for the ACL Brewers Rookie Ball team.

Fielder, who signed a free agent contact with Milwaukee in July 2024, hit a two-run homer in his first professional at-bat and finished his introductory minor league game by going 1-2 with four RBIs and two runs scored.

So far in his professional career, the Windermere, Florida native has posted a .300 average in his first three games and most recently went 2-4 Thursday night against the ACL Giants Rookie Ball team. He’s also reached base in two of his first three games and will look to become an every day starter while moving up in the Brewers organization.

During his time in the Key City, the son of former Brewers slugger Prince Fielder, played 22 games and hit one homer while recording five RBIs. Additionally, Fielder posted an on-base percentage of .374 and was a mainstay in the Keys infield playing primarily at second base.

Fielder started his career off in Frederick strong with a six-game hitting streak from June 5 through June 13 and had two doubles while maintaining an on-base percentage of .538 in that period.

The Frederick Keys begin their 2025 season against the West Virginia Black Bears on Wednesday, June 4 at 7 p.m. at Nymeo Field at Harry Grove Stadium.
