(Trenton, NJ) - Your Trenton Thunder, presented by NJM Insurance Group, would like to take this opportunity to thank the best fans in baseball and all of our wonderful partners and sponsors for their continued support during the first half of the 2022 season. The Thunder are thrilled to announce that we drew 100,689 fans over our first 18 home games for an average of 5,593.

"The Trenton Thunder would like to thank all of our fans and partners who joined us for the first 18 games of the 40 days of Thunder,” said Jeff Hurley, President/GM. "We are so lucky to have the best fans in baseball. We still have a jammed packed promotional schedule for the second half of the season and we look forward to seeing everyone at the ballpark for the remainder of the season.”

The Thunder just missed out on a First Half Championship, finishing three games back of the West Virginia Black Bears (23-15) with a 20-18 record. The Thunder were better playing at Trenton Thunder Ballpark and had a 12-6 record at home during the first half of the split-season format, which will completely alter the roster upon completion of the MLB Amateur Draft.
